ADR-014: CSS we wrote (superseded)

Status: Superseded by ADR-017 (2026-08-31)

Decision (superseded): the panel used a stylesheet the project wrote itself, instead of Tailwind CSS or shadcn/ui.

Why it changed: ADR-017 moved every part of the panel to shadcn/ui on Tailwind CSS 4. Three things did not change in that move, because they were never questions of style. The palette is Gopher’s own values, measured against WCAG 2.1 level AA. The layout is container queries, not the width of the window. The keyboard is one tab stop that the arrow keys move through the list of memberships and the list of posts.
